Sphelite ACD-17C is a kind of defluorination chelating resin based on styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer. This resin uses a specific rare metal loading process (zirconium) to form a stable metal-organic coordination structure, which significantly improves the selectivity and adsorption capacity for fluoride ions.
The resin is widely usded in the treatment of fluorinated wastewater in mine drainage, semiconductor industry, electroplating and photovoltaic industries with wide application and obvious effect.
Key Applications
l “F” removal from mine water
l “F” removal from drinking water
l “F” removal from electroplating effluent
l “F” removal from fluoride-containing wastewater
Regeneration
l Regenerants: 3BV NaOH, 3BV pure water and 3BV H2SO4
l Concentration: 6% NaOH and 2% H2SO4
l Flowrates:1-1.5BV/h
l Rinse resin with 3-4BV pure water after regeneration till outlet pH≥2
